So is there any chance any of my handful of readers know anything about resources for injured workers whose employers are blocking the system of access to health care in a timely fashion? Like how one would go about obtaining an attorney, and if it is even possible to do so without going bankrupt? Which, by the way, I'm pretty damn close to at this point already. I'll take any info or advice available at this point, with cautious appreciation. (I'm rather stressed out and beyond my capacity for coping with stress even remotely reasonably well by now).

Ugh. This sucks. I'm so sorry. Word of mouth is probably the best way to find a lawyer. If you know anyone who's had any kind of employment issue, I'd start there. Otherwise I'd google employment lawyer or FMLA lawyer or similar. Basically anyone who represents employees should be able to help you. Good luck.
